Data Infrastructure

Pakka

Managed data pipeline connectors for SaaS companies.

Overview

What Pakka does.

Pakka builds and maintains the data connectors that SaaS companies need to pull customer data from third-party systems — accounting software, CRMs, payment gateways, HR platforms. Instead of each SaaS company building and maintaining its own integrations, Pakka provides a managed connector layer with a single API.

Why we invested

The thesis behind Pakka.

Every B2B SaaS product eventually needs to ingest data from its customers' existing systems, and the long tail of integrations is a maintenance burden that distracts engineering teams from their core product. Pakka's founders spent a decade building these connectors as agency work for US SaaS clients.

The insight was that the same fifteen connectors came up in every engagement. The product packages the most common ones as a managed service with a unified schema, and the first customers are the same US SaaS companies that used to pay the founders as contractors.

Two co-founders in Lahore: both senior engineers who ran the integration practice at a well-known Pakistani software agency. Between them they have built connectors for over forty different third-party APIs.
